I thought a fretless would be fun to try so I built one. Of course it is a travel bass as well. The neck is removeable and headless as well as fretless. I picked purple for the body color and after it was done it looked like an eggplant hence the name.

A matching strap completes the picture. The cloth bag under the bass was made by my daughter and works great for traveling either in parts or assembled.
