Aunt Sarah, as always, was very prepared for little girls and had princess bags with little goodies for all of them. I, on the other hand, brought lots of toys to fight over. Silly me. Three copies, come on Pam!

The food was awsome. I had a GREAT birthday. Lots of playing inside and out. It was pretty much just a god time.

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-047-736073.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />
<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-067-736121.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

We also celebrated an early Christmas. Grandma is so creative. The girls LOVE the dresses she made for them. Tenna is wearing it right now as she sleeps. And their plates...I should just get rid of everything else! They had a great time. Plus, Sarah got some video of Andi singing two songs all the way through, maybe I will get a copy to post!

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-072-736184.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

The haircut

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-031-764597.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

Tenna loves having long hair, "like Barbie." Unfortunately she got a hold of my scissors yesterday while I was in the potty helping Andi. She cut a few chunks from the front, so I decided we needed to fix it.

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-034-764637.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

So we cut her beautiful hair. I was cleaning up and FOOLISHLY left the scissors within her grasp! I was silly enough to think she was actually watching the movie. She is totally going to work for the CIA, she is so attentive.

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-038-764680.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

So NOW, she has bangs, and a strange gap on the side of her head that I don't know WHAT to do with. Do I take her to a real salon and get her hair layered? Do I ignore the gap? What do you think?
<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-039-764723.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

Too yucky outside

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-732782.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />
Tenna asked me today if this is winter time...pretty close. Thanks mom for always helping me with my dishes. Are you amazed that I have only a few things in it after so many days have passed since your last visit?

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Nov-08-016-743158.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

My favorite room. One makes me think of myself, or my upbringing, I dunno. She eats garbonzo bean pancakes and cookie dough, the end. I just laughed. I had never tasted a breakfast casserole and I thought dutch oven cooking must be done by those with Dutch ancestory. Being married to a farm boy from Utah has opened my eyes to all sorts of culenary delights. Case in point: sausage "biscutz" and gravy. Me likey. Andi likes them too, but she still has a bit of the city kid in her. She ate her steamed broccoli first. ;)

Snow day!

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Oct-08-028-755075.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

We had a big (for October) snow storm yesterday. I really wanted to wait until after our road trip with Grandma, but she is adamant, and quite good too! I say that after having to pull my hair out with Tenna. She actually notices when she is wet, and will tell me when she has to go. We caught a wolf spider in the house last week. Yes, I am still a whimp, yes I did squeel and scream the whole time, but I caught it!

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Sept-08-007-710582.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />
I mostly caught it to prove to Al that we really do have spiders of that magnitude in the house. Yes, i am the fierce jungle queen. Well I caught a little house spider the next day and the girls decided we should throw them togehter and see what happens. Well "wolfy," like it's little snack, so we got adventurous. We tried a beastie grasshopper form the garden. No beans, to big. So we set it free, and caught a few more little guys for our spider. The girls still loved having the spider around, but we decided we couldn't keep feeding it through the winter so Albert set it free. It was a fun observation though. It sure taught Tenna about what it really means for somehting to eat something else. She was a little sad for the little spiders.

More excited...

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Sept-08-012-725286.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

...than she looks. Oh she is a spoiled little girl! The "flying," part comes from a BBQ yesterday at a friends house. Andi was playing upstairs in the baby's room while some boys were running down the hall and jumping into the hosts arms. It was way fun for 4 year old boys! I went down to check on Tenna in the back yard. Upon returning into the house I was greeted by a thud and a wailing that I instantly recognized as Andi. I ran upstairs (it's a 3-split level home) to find on of the other moms trying to comfort Andi, her lips beginning to swell and bleeding. Oh great...It made me think of Katie's story. Anywho, she thought the flying jump thing looked like fun, and apparently didn't notice that there had been someone there to catch the boys. She just went for it. Luckily they have carpet! So she is a bit banged up, but (thankfully) still has all of her teeth!

Fishing!

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Aug-08-244-767858.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

WE had to do some fishing! We are so sad that all of our visitors are gone, but we all need some sleep and I need to do some deeo cleaning. Andi had a great B-day party, though her real Birthday is tomorrow. I promise to post more in a bit, but I have so much cleaning and canning and planting to catch up on I just can't bring myself to spend the time to write it all up! Thanks to all of our fun guests! Let's do it again soon!

Camping!

<img src='http://www.ohler.com/pamela/blog/uploaded_images/Aug-08-016-788418.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' />

Sorry that the first parts of this post took so long!
